What is a Pet Super Adoption?
No More Homeless Pets in Utah holds two Pet Super Adoption events each year-one in early May and one in September. These are three day adoption events (Fri-Sun) and typically over 25 rescue groups and shelters from all over Utah participate. There are usually over 800 dogs and cats available for adoption at each event. Between 8,000-10,000 people visit each adoption event and over 350 animals are adopted out during each adoption weekend. Often participating shelters are able clear out their shelters during these very important weekends. Each Super Adoption typically has a theme. This year?s spring event is:

Paw it Forward, adopt from a shelter or rescue and save a life.

It?s the ?Paw it Forward? Pet Super Adoption. Adopt from a shelter or rescue group and save a life. It all happens May 2nd- May 4th at the PetSmart located at 389 West and 1830 South in Salt Lake City. Hundreds of adorable dogs, cats, puppies and kittens will be available for adoption. All animals are fixed, vaccinated and ready for a new home with you. Brought to you by No More Homeless Pets in Utah in partnership with PetSmart. ?Paw it forward? by adopting your new cat or dog at the Spring Super Adoption. Together, let?s save them all!

Dock jumping for dogs is fast becoming one of America's most popular outdoor events! Pets compete for distance, diving from a dock into a 25 foot pool. No other outdoor event brings families together better or puts more smiles on faces than Splash Dog events. Proud pet owners travel to these events from all over the region to compete. It's an incredible new sport that everyone loves!

Splash Dogs was founded by Tony Reed after discovering that his beloved Black Labrador, Sierra, took to the water like a fish?a flying fish! Sierra is not only Tony's best friend but also a big hit on the Splash Dog circuit, jumping distances up to 20 feet!

Splash dogs will be in Utah for:

International Sportsmens Expo
Salt Lake City, UT
March 13-16, 2008
